Delete your Loggerfish account
You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
In the app
Open Loggerfish, go to Settings, then Account, and choose “Delete my account and data”. Confirm once more, and it is done.
Without the app
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete it without undue delay, within one month at the latest, and reply when it is done.
Before you delete
Take a copy if you want one: Settings → Account → “Download my account data”, and for the logbook itself, Export (Excel) or Backup. Both are free.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in
- Your synced logbook: dives, sightings, sites, trips, gear and certifications
- Your reviews, the reports you filed and the moderation notices sent to you
- Your buddy links, shared dives, invites and kudos
- Your feedback and your subscription record
What is kept
- Invoices and payment records, for as long as tax law requires. They are held by our payment provider, Stripe.
- Moderation decisions, without your name or account attached.
- Dive sites you added to the shared list. Other divers use them, but they are no longer linked to you.
Data only on your device
Without an account, your logbook lives only in your browser or phone. Delete it there: clear the site’s data in your browser, or uninstall the app.
